I wired a bass cut pot into my DC-125, using a 500K pot and .0022 microfarad cap. It has a big effect on OD on down the chain, but is subtle with cleaner tones. I hear Carvin used to do this in the ...

Carvin made a custom DC for me in 1986. They made a mistake putting a wanker bar on it, and made me another. I think VP got the first one.

I guess everyone knows it is forbidden to even mention the name Carvin in a post split conversation at Kiesel guitars. They must hate their history. I have a negative interest in Kiesel guitars.

I have my 1984 LB-40 bass, 1986 DC-125, and I just bought a 1981 DC-100. I am set. It is sad to see Carvin go away. They have been my guitar and amp company since 1978. I have no interest in the ...

I just got in an M22V to put back with my M22N, and 3 M22SDs. I mistakenly ordered it without a bezel since I have an old 4 screw bezel on hand. I then discovered they drill out the mounting holes ...

It looks like the M series pickups are going to be DC'ed. I just ordered an M22V, my favorite all time pickup, in black/cream. I have three M22SDs hanging around. The M22V is likely my last purcha ...

I have spent more $$ with Carvin over the last 40 years than all other music companies combined. I am not selling any amps or PA. They still work fine. I am sad. The end of an era.

My 1986 DC 125 got an Imron paint job, as I assume all Carvin guitars of that era did. It is one tough paint and has held up wonderfully. Not an easy guitar to relic....... without a hammer......

The DC-125 is gone. It is available as an option 50 DC-127. When I ordered my DC-125 in 1986 I "optioned 50" an added neck humbucker.

Carvin is really forging ahead on designs. I am a low bling guy and prefer the 80s styles but I certainly appreciate the innovation. (What Guitardan said.)
