These might be the last guitars I buy. All the closets are full. No more room under the bed. I even have one stashed behind the couch. From now on it's buy one - sell one. And since I've never actually sold a guitar....

The first one is a Swedish, 1978 Hagstrom D'Aquisto oval hole in sunburst. I already have one of these in natural from '77, but these are rare, especially in the sunburst finish. Birch ply body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, very comfortable neck. This one is near mint too. It must have lived under someones bed.

Second is a Bjarton P-46, also Swedish. The guy I bought it from says it's from 1959, but I'm thinking it's from '61 or '62. Condition is Good+. It's got some lacquer checking and a few bumps and bruises. The veg-o-matic pickup selector mechanism needs some attention. A pretty rare guitar also.

Hagstrom and Bjarton have an intertwined history. Hagstrom made the pickup plate mechanism for the P-46 and Bjarton made the necks and bodies for the first run of Hagstrom D'Aquistos back in 1969.

Those are cool! Love the Reso-pickup-thingy on the bottom one!
