I would suggest starting the bidding around three or four hundred $ instead of way up at $1000. Unless you're just hoping that people will notice the guitar and contact you privately with offers... I've heard that sometimes works.

But to quote all the the "experts" you see on Pawn Stars, "I would set a value on this piece... retail... around $400 to $450." Cool

And then Corey offers you $75 for it and calls you, "my man." Laughing
