Almost every guitar I have ever owned has had a Floyd Rose of some sort.
I am thinking that I would like to get a couple of guitars with more typical bridges and wanted to get opinions on the options that Carvin offers.

Bolt + or C66:
Wilkinson Tremolo vs. Vintage Tremolo
- Which one has better sustain and stays in tune after use?
- Which one has better/warmer tone?
- I know I can get a better upgrade later for the Wilk, but is there a direct upgrade for the Vintage Trem if I hate it?

DC700:
Standard bridge vs. Tune-O-Matic
- Which one has better sustain?
- Which one has better tone?
- Is there enough room on the TOM for me to adjust intonation if I change from 10's to 9's?

Thanks!

Hipshot makes drop-in replacements for both two-post and vintage (six
screw) trem bridges.

Thanks! Do you know what the quality of the Hipshot tremolos is like?
