I just got my first 'good' bass in nearly 20 years, and I played a whole big bunch of basses before I got it. It really caught my attention Wink but playing it made me a stone cold believer. If I ever get a 5, it will be one of these as well. My beautiful toilet seat inspired EBMM Bongo:

I tried out a bongo in a gc here years ago. The only bass that has ever made me reconsider my slavish devotion to the Jazz bass and its soundalikes.

Well, I find I'm not happy with just ONE kind of bass, so I've been concentrating on gathering different styles of traditional basses. So far, it's been mostly Fender-type and I went off the deep end with vintage Peaveys. However I'm trying not to spend over $350.00 for ANY of them, so I can continue growing this "herd" of basses.

Squier Classic Vibe Precision 50s

Squier Vintaga Modified Jazz Bass 70s

Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass (amber)

Squier Mikey Way Mustang

'82 Peavey T20FL (Fretless)

'82 Peavey T45

'78 Peavey T40

It's a disease. GAS has me in its GRIPS!

CARVIN CONTENT:(The above non-Carvin basses are all pictured with a 1983 CARVIN XV112e amp!)
