Very sharp. Do you ever wish you had the bridge pickup? I want to go super simple on my next Carvin, but wonder if the PB with no J is a one trick pony.

I would go for active electronics if you opt for one pickup. If you can get a mid control, even better. The active electronics is what makes single pickup basses like the stingray into versatile basses.

Yep, but also a bridge pickup. I have the two volumes, passive tone, and stacked treble/bass boost/cut
