Love my Bolt but I think the strings sustain a tad less on the treble side than other bolt on strats I have owned. I think I am going to order a string tree for it to see if improves.

Anyone have experience with this?

I've never owned a bolt but there's no reason that there should be any problem with doing that. I guess Carvin doesn't bother because their headstock tilts back instead of drops and levels like Fender, but it certainly shouldn't hurt anything and would help keep the high strings in their nut slots while bending, if the nut isn't that deep.

Other bolt on guitars also don't have angled headstocks. A string tree would be redundant.

After going back and forth, I decided against it. Just did not have the heart to to Ryobi my Carvin
