I'm assembling supplies for a project that will be finished in what I can best describe as "Hot Chrome." I've already applied the chrome applique and I've selected a pearlized purple that I'll shoot (burst edges) with the airbrush. I also need some type of trans-gold/orange to blend between the chrome and the purple. If anyone has a suggestion for a commercially available airbrush blend orange, I'm all ears.

I'm also noticing that my previous thread hasn't been updated for more than a year, yet it's still in the top ten of recent posts in this category.

Looks like it's just you and me, then!

I'm placing an order for some transparent orange and opaque purple by Testors. They make a formula specifically for airbrush. After that, I'll drop it off with a guy (compressor & gun) that can clear coat it for me. I've got a quick road trip coming up at the end of this month, so I can't start painting until I get back. I'll post pics while the project is in progress.
