Hi guys, Haven`t been around for a while but back in the swing. Since Kiesel has taken over production of the Carvin guitars. I have noticed I haven`t seen the DC125, ST300, Large Logo or Thick neck offered. Are these hidden features and guitars or dropped altogether?? Thank you.

ST300 is gone - you might be able to call it in. Theres a whole thread over there about it.
The 125 may be a call in thing on the 127.
Thick neck was never really in the builder, maybe on a few models, so pretty much always was a call-in thing - same with thin neck.

Not sure about the logo.
And - you still cannot get a 24.75" scale (yeah, I remember Wink ).

Wow, I can`t believe they got rid of the ST300, that`s crazy. That is my favorite model and it seams it was selling well. I can`t stand the new models they have been bring out. Way too far out for me. That is cool you remembered the 24.75 scale bro!! Where is: Over There at?? The old Carvin forum? Thank you very much.

Jack

Thanks guys. Oh, so you order basically a custom JB100 out as an option 50? Mine are usually far from basic Carvins and a lot of Option 50`s going on including just a bridge humbucker, just a volume knob, regular Carvin tuners non-locking, maybe thicker neck, all maple body and neck, etc. Thank you.

I just took a look. The JB100 doesn`t have near the options the ST300 had. I am going to have to Option 50 it to death. Much more expensive than the ST300`s were as well.

The DC-125 is gone. It is available as an option 50 DC-127. When I ordered my DC-125 in 1986 I "optioned 50" an added neck humbucker.

It's actually not the exact same body. Similar, but they said they tweaked it somehow.

The ST300 was retired along with the C66 and SH60/SH65 which were all slow-ish sellers. They all had their hayday, but seemed to have slowed to a crawl.
