For someone who "doesn't model his Carvins," you sure have posted this link a lot. I think it's about time you posted a pic of yourself playing one of those basses.

That picture would be as rare as one of the Yeti. Fish

My 'Next To Last' Non-Carvin has left the nest, and gone to a new owner in China. Business was handled, here in the States. It would prove interesting to know where it's journey takes it. It has served me VERY well. It WILL be missed - but life must go on (and another Carvin LB70 is just over the horizon). This is a 2001 Fender American Zone Deluxe with Hipshot bridge and tuners.

Decided to keep this thread going.
Keeping my 2005 LB75 company are:
Ibanez SR405, black, 2004
Peavey GV, graphite-necked 5-string, 2000
Lakland 55-02, natural ash, 2005
Hohner fretless B-Bass B, jazz-style, 1999 (I think, maybe a '98, can't remember).

I just got my first 'good' bass in nearly 20 years, and I played a whole big bunch of basses before I got it. It really caught my attention Wink but playing it made me a stone cold believer. If I ever get a 5, it will be one of these as well. My beautiful toilet seat inspired EBMM Bongo:

gonna open this one back up, because now i have non-carvins that i actually use.

i just picked up a really nice warwick corvette standard at bass northwest for about $700. i just could NOT pass that one up.

i also have an ibanez SRX505TK that i bought new last year and an OLP MM3 that i bought new last year, which has turned into a project beater bass, since it really needs work but will probably go into storage before it gets any repair treatment (i have been in-transit since august 2006).

non-carvins that are in storage with my all three of my carvins are an ibanez RD787 (old one with the pointy RG headstock) in pieces and needing to be refinished and a mid 90s ibanez SR505TT with a carvin wilkinson bridge and EMG select pj pickups, that really need to be changed. i may have another one or two, but i cannot remember right now.
