How do you actually date these if Carvin lost they're records of serial numbers way back when? Also just ran clean channel with a DOD 250 pre amp what you folks think on these?

Cool Stuff! I also have that same Ibanez guitar, the amp I have closest to yours is an XV112!

I have poured over the museum site to narrow down the age of my amp with a minimal success but if you scroll through the amp years you can narrow it down by tolex versus fuzzy, the type of speakers ect.

Yeah its funny apparently Carvin made several types of ones like mine feature wise. I am now searching for an X-30 and wonder if they were all
fixed bias or not. Also, want to get an X100B series 3 fixed bias with matching 80's cab to add to my Carvin Collection. The od channel is massive to where I cannot use it past 6 maybe 7 with the pre- amp tubes I have unless I crank it past 2 which gets the cops involved lol. I am running cheep no name Chinese 12AX7's from Amplified Parts I got for 54 bucks for 7. Show us picks of your 112 I alos am eventually going to try and get one but priorities an all.
