I found out that the Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd will be playing here Friday night. After watching a few of their videos and the promo from their Red Rocks show last year, I had to buy tickets. Should be a good show. They are playing at Red Rocks again tomorrow night, the hear in Cheyenne at tour little Ice and Events Center on Friday. I am looking forward to it.

Haven't seen Brit Floyd but I bet they're awesome!

At least that was my experience with the Australian Pink Floyd. Smile

They're on PBS a lot and they really nail the songs note for note and
nuance to nuance. They play Pittsburgh fairly regularly. The tix are
quite pricey here but I've heard the live show is great. They always
sell out.

The Brit Floyd - The Pink Floyd Tribute Show was completely mindblowing. All the hits you would expect and oldies like "Set Your Controls For The Heart of the Sun". The band was spot on, and the rendition of "Great Gig in the Sky" had people gaping in amazement as each of the three backup vocalists took a turn singing it.

As we were leaving, my wife, kept commenting that it was "the best concert EVER".

The venue was too small for the inflatable pig and the screen had to sit lower than ideal, but the performance was great, especially considering that the place was only half full. At the meet and greet I made sure to tell the band that if they come back next year, word of mouth should guarantee better attendance.

Photos are a bit grainy due to using 3200 ISO on my point and shoot camera.

I paid $50 a ticket for general admission in the front section and ended up three rows back, in the center section.
