Darn you, Brian. I had thoroughly intended to get to bed at a decent hour last night. Wink Instead I followed link after link of new music (new to me anyway). I now have a half dozen versions of "Ride On" bookmarked along with ventures into several more great musicians. And of course I reviewed old favorites like Clannad, Altan, Mary Black, Emmy Lou, Nanci Griffith, The TransAtlantic Sessions, etc... . By the time I realized it, it was 3:00 in the morning. Ah well, who needs sleep when ya' have music?

BTW, nice take on the classic tune. Thanks.

Rick

Thanks Rick. I listened to many version of Ride On before I ended up (accidentally) coming up with my version. Not sure how I came up with that chordal pattern, but it fit. Different than the apparent original, but the melody remains somewhat intact.

I know what you mean though. I too went off on a link hunt finding some great stuff. Youtube does that. LOL

Thanks again.
