I have a 1957 Carvin #1-SGB electric guitar which I dearly love, but which I would consider selling under my present circumstances, if the offer was sufficient. It was played by the fellow I bought it from, who smoked, and there is a cigarette burn on the Fender-style headstock where he used to place his cigarette. I think that feature gives this guitar extra soul, actually.. Another issue is the wire to the pickup needs work, or a replacement pickup. It truly is a cool guitar, and and great player, with a great neck. You can see one of these in the archive section under 1957 guitars. Tony
