Hi,
I am fortunate enough to own 2 SH225's; a 1983 with the adjustable stop tail - with Bareknuckle Nailbomb pickups - in aged gold for a perfect match to the gold hardware, and a 1986 with a factory Kahler and Seymour Duncan PAF pickups. Both are awesome guitars, but the '83 is missing it's pick-guard.

Can someone please help me locate one so I can restore the factory appearance?

THANKS! Applause

As a fellow SH225 owner I just thought I'd say hello. Cool

I've got one of the black ones. Pic below.
Care to show us pictures of yours?

As to a pickguard, the only thing I could maybe think of is to contact Hofner. They still make a guitar just like this called the Verythin. The pickguard for it might fit the 225. *shrugs*

Sorry for the late response. I have an '82 SH 225 I bought new, and it never had a pick guard. I think by '83 or so it had become an option. So there is a chance your '83 never had one.

This place will make you one if you provide the specs.
