Well the title says it all. I used to have a VTR-2800 that I bought new at the Carvin factory in 1978. I would play through a Fender Dual Showman cabinet with two JBL D-130F's. I really liked the round tone I got out those speakers. Fast forward to the mid 80's and I downsized to an X-60E and a XV-112E. I recently gutted a buddies 2-15" cabinet and I've got a JBL E-130 and I'm thinking about putting it in the XV-112. I know it won't fit in the X-60 (what a shame) but I thought it might squeeze into the XV-112. Has anybody done this? Pros? Cons?

They sold them that way in '81

I've only seen a few for sale, and never bought one. I like an EVM12L. It runs very clean and loud.
